Las Chavelas Taqueria: Authentic Mexican Flavors in Homestead, FL

The food is here is amazing. I’ve been here plenty of times and each time is great. They have some of the best Al pastor tacos in Homestead also their Bistec a La Mexicana is another favorite of mine.

Im originally from west palm beach but was in town for business when i stumbled across this place and im SOO happy I did The food is amazing. It was all super fresh. Definitely a must try if you are close by. 100% recommend .

Searched for Quesabirria tacos and they had them. Also they had a 4.7 rating so had to try them out. Quesabirria is a quesadilla, filled with slow-cooked, stewed meat (usually beef or goat) and melted cheese inside a corn tortilla, which is dipped in the flavorful broth called consomé and grilled until crispy. It's served with a side of the consomé for dipping and garnished with cilantro, onion, and lime.

I just moved from Houston, Texas last year at the end of the year. I come from a Mexican household my is the best cook so living in Miami has made me miss home a whole lot. I can say I have gone to many different places in Miami to try Mexican food and none of them compare to this place. I don’t know what the bad reviews are about the waiter was super sweet and very attentive of us. I’m glad that after months of searching I finally found a GOOD AUTHENTIC PLACE.

Jennifer was our server and she was so nice and welcoming! Gave the best recommendations. We ordered birria tacos and I usually don’t like birria at all and I am a fan!!! Delicioso!!!! absolutely the best birria tacos I’ve had. Food was great and service was great! Prices were great!

This place is as authentic as you can get. No glam , no frills just real tacos with onions and cilantro the way they’re supposed to be with awesome red or green sauce. Thing that I was missing was the radishes. But other than that, this place is what you get at Los Angeles food truck or a Tijuana street taco. Very casual and very tasty.

This was my first visit, and it definitely won't be my last! I picked up some quesabirria tacos to go, and the order came out super fast. Three cheesy, flavorful quesabirria tacos with consomé on the side totaled around $16 including tax—and they were absolutely worth it. Served piping hot, packed with rich taste, and seriously delicious. The cozy spot has seating for about 20 people inside. This place is a true hidden gem in Homestead, Florida—highly recommend!

Hey chat, best taco place ever, not going to discuss with anyone. Perfect spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have the necessity to go twice a month. My fat ahh always gets like 6 tacos and something to go. Up north you’ll spend 30 bucks in 3 boring taste-less tacos, while here that’s like 15 delicious and real tacos fr fr.
